What’s Happening
Lift Orlando and Orlando Housing Authority received a $500,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grant to create a transformation plan for the redevelopment of Washington Shores’ Lake Mann Homes, a family public housing community with 210 units, and West Lakes’ Lorna Doone Apartments, an elderly community with 104 units, located minutes west of downtown Orlando in The Communities of West Lakes.
